Josh Maurer is in his fourth season as the play-by-play broadcaster for the RiverDogs. The Lower Merion, PA native also serves as the voice of Charleston Southern University (Division I, Big South Conference) football and men’s basketball during the off-season.

Maurer called baseball games in 2003 for the Brockton (MA) Rox of the CanAm League, another Goldklang Group organization. He spent three seasons (2003-06) as the voice of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (Division I, Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) men's and women's basketball teams in Princess Anne, Md. and hosted a weekly talk show, "Center Court," in nearby Salisbury.

A graduate of the University of Maryland, Maurer called Terrapin baseball, football and basketball games from 2000-‘03, including the 2002 FedEx Orange Bowl and the 2002 NCAA basketball national championship game. He also has worked behind the scenes for ESPN's "Pardon the Interruption," the Philadelphia Phillies Television Network and Comcast Sportsnet television.

Danny Reed will serve as the Assistant Director of Media Relations and host the pre- and post-game radio show.

A native of Cumberland, Md., Reed graduated summa cum laude from Waynesburg University (Pa.) in May 2007 with a B.A. in Communication. He served as the primary play-by-play voice for Waynesburg men's and women's basketball, baseball, and was the voice of Greene County High School football for WCYJ-FM 88.7. Reed has also worked with 1270 AM WCBC Radio in his hometown on a seasonal basis since November 2001 as a play-by-play broadcaster, analyst, and statistician.
